Small towns make up the backbone of America. You grow up knowing your neighbor and the local store owner. You see the fellow residents every day. It’s a good feeling for most. This small town environment still exists today in Southern Illinois and many other parts of the country.

Here are some web hosting options to consider. There are advantages to each option.

There is free web hosting but you will need an easy to remember domain name which free hosts usually don’t offer and you want FTP uploading of your files which may be hard to find for free. There are other ways to upload your files but FTP is easy and powerful.

These types of hosting, the free or the ones for a few dollars a month are called shared hosting. This type of hosting is affordable but the drawback is other sites are sharing the same computer in the web host’s warehouse as yours. If any of the other sites have a coding problem they can take down the computer along with your site until it gets fixed by the hosting service, until then your closed down.

If you go with the purchase of a shared hosting plan make sure they have a money back period especially if you sign a one year contract or longer. In the course of introducing the people, the country, and their traditions you can reveal how each sound from the didgeridoo depicts the sound of a distinct animal - a snake, a fish, a crocodile, an emu. This visualisation exercise will help when they come to start their first draft sketch.

2. A short video of aboriginal dancing features at the end of this lesson plan.

3. Students speculate in groups on the meaning of common symbols in aboriginal art as per ‘Aboriginal Symbols’ worksheet pictured below. Which symbolize a kangaroo, a boomerang, a waterhole, footprints, and the sun, rain, and moon?

4. At the end of the first session students annotate a B/W copy of a real aboriginal painting and identify which lines/dots/patterns symbolize what. 5. The next session begins with a first draft in B/W. Evaluation and feedback should take place throughout each session in the form of peer evaluation (what do you think of each other’s work?) and final evaluation in the form of a clear grading scale. For a project of this nature you could include such criteria as:

Do: Think About Your Audience

When writing a resume, too many candidates think in simple terms of what tasks 1st mortgage performed. However, it is important to think about your resume from a strategic perspective before you write the first word. So it does not matter if you like what you put on the resume. The real question is whether those reading your resume are impressed.

So who will read my resume you ask? There are two distinct groups that you need to keep in mind: the hiring manager and the HR representative. Don’t: Use an Objective Sentence

Most candidates know that you are supposed to communicate your job objective into a resume. However, most try to get fancy by writing an objective phrase or sentence that says something like, “To utilize my skills, education, and experience for a growth-oriented company.” Now what does that really mean? It certainly does not tell a prospective employer what type of position you want. It tells me that you will take any job for any company that is growing, and thus not laying off it’s employees. That’s not a strong or confident statement. Just list your objective in the form of a title or headline. Short and simple, but effective.

Do: Include a Keywords List

Although hiring managers do not find a lot of value in a keywords list, because they are relatively meaningless, they are essential for the human resource folks, who perform word searches to generate batches of candidates for pre-screening and who compare keywords on the resume with some of the major requirements and preferences on the hiring document. Don’t overwhelm the reader by listing dozens of keywords. Simply include anywhere from eight to fifteen of the terms that fit both you and the language used in the position posting.

Don’t: Overuse Bullet Points

Much of the material on the market touts the effectiveness of a bulleted format in a resume. This is largely true. However, many people end up burying some of their key highlights because they list every single thought next to a bullet. Make sure you put your basic job duties in paragraph-style text so that you can reserve the bullets for the items you want to showcase like cost-savings initiatives, sales results, performance metrics, and key projects managed.

There has been a lot of discussion over the years about whether you can toilet train cat, dog or any other animal. The fact of the matter is, it is a relatively simple thing to do if you want to toilet train your cat. As far as getting your dog or other animal to go to the bathroom in the toilet, good luck with that. If you want your feline, however, to begin using the porcelain litter box then you need to start moving it in that direction slowly. Here’s how you do it.

The first thing that you need to do is to move the litter box next to the toilet itself. This will get the cat used to its new area that will be going to the bathroom from now on. You also need to make sure that the seat is constantly down but the lid is always up on the toilet. If you have a man in the house that likes to leave the toilet seat up, he needs to be trained as well. If the seat is up, your cat will not be comfortable walking around on the porcelain rim and it’s not very sanitary, anyway.

Every day, begin lifting the litter box up a little bit closer to the level of the toilet seat. You could probably add one or 2 inches to the height every day, just make sure that it is always stable as your cat will sometimes jump up into the box and the last thing you want to do is knock it over. It may take a couple of weeks, but eventually the box will be up as high as the toilet seat itself. Now it’s time to move your cat over to the toilet.

You’re either going to have to use a metal bowl that is the same size as the toilet bowl or fabricate a wooden box that will neatly fit down into the toilet area. Fill this box with litter and your cat will begin using it, just like it uses the litter box. Begin training the cat to keep its paws up on the seat and eventually, you will be able to remove the litter box from the toilet altogether. Your cat is now toilet trained and you can begin enjoying a litter box free house from this point forward.
